Lovage and chives have been coming up for a few weeks and now Dill has sprung up overnight and I see garlic bulbs, nice size, too.
I have early corn up about 4" high and the 96 day is at 2". Planted two more rows of Early Sunglow corn.
I planted Page yellow wax beans along the wooden border for the bed that is now around the tomatoes and lettuce. Saw my first rabbit last night. So far she is sticking to the clover.
Pinks (Dianthus), phlox, bulbous buttercups, bouncing bet, fumewort and daisies all blooming. The clematis is about to bloom as is the spirgia and pointella. The morning glories are climbing madly and will join the clematis mid garden in front. The ferns love the coolness, there are dwarf pines, a boxwood, a white cedar (arbor vitae), sedum with it's yellow stars, starting some successful Rose of Sharon bushes. The geraniums have come back.
All the trees have fruit. Amazing. All the berries have fruit. Just a handful of strawberries daily but a nice breakfast addition. Saw my first Anna's humming bird of the season. More reds in the beds!
